About this Certificate Program: As training and performance improvement groups try to directly link their work to that of the organizations they support, and as these groups chart a more central role for themselves in the lives of their organizations, the processes of identifying a long-term strategic direction, preparing a strategic plan to achieve that direction, and successfully implementing strategic change becomes increasingly central to the success of training managers.
This certificate program prepares managers and senior trainers for these tasks. It describes how to chart a strategic direction that is appropriate to the group, how to develop and prepare a realistic strategic plan, and how to implement strategic change through the effective use of business cases, change management, and monitoring and adjusting change. In addition, learners also begin work on their own strategic plans as part of this certificate program and receive feedback on this in-development work.
At the end of this program, students are eligible for a certificate of completion.
