Copyediting text, that is, correcting any glaring typographical, grammatical, and stylistic errors, and ensuring that the content is consistent and follows guidelines
Prepare the front matter (title screen, edition notice, preface, and main menu) and back matter (appendixes, glossary, index, and Learner Satisfaction Form)
Produce graphics so that they can be used in the program
Produce and edit audiovisual components, working with professionals to plan and complete the recording, and edit the material into a usable sequence
Verify permission to use copyrighted material, such as text passages over 250 words, and any visual images and sounds.

Combine the various elements into a single “master” package, including related print elements, instructions for the duplication service. Also test the materials to make sure they work and make a backup copy of the master.
Duplicate and distribute the learning program. The process varies slightly, depending on whether you distribute the program by CD, DVD, your own server, or through another an Application Service Provider (hosted server).
