Advanced Design for Online Learning

Length: 2 or 3 days

About this Certificate Program: Take your online instructional designs to the next level in this workshop-like setting. This workshop looks at ways to incorporate different instructional models, accommodate learning styles, and explore a variety of approaches to designing content, interaction, and screens.

The highlight of this seminar is a 30- to 45-minute review of a lesson of each participants' work. Each participant is expected to bring a module of instruction to be reviewed by other participants in the workshop. Seminar participants and the instructor will provide feedback in a structured and supportive atmosphere. The module can be in-process project or completed one. (To ensure that the work and comments remain confidential, we will have a policy of non-disclosure.) This exploration of one anothers' work provides an opportunity for concrete application of the ideas presented in this seminar.

At the end of this program, students are eligible for a certificate of completion.

Who Should Attend: Experienced instructional designers who have developed at least 3 online learning programs and are looking to take their designs to the next level.
